System Diagnostics & FAQs

Understanding your roof's engineering, lifespan, and failure modes.

How long should a tile roof last in Riverside County?

While the tiles themselves can last 50+ years, the underlayment beneath them typically fails around the 25-30 year mark due to the 150°F+ surface temps we experience in the Inland Empire. When this happens, we perform a 'tile reset and re-felt' to restore the system.

Do I need a permit to replace my roof?

Yes. Riverside County and individual cities (like Murrieta, Temecula, and Corona) each have their own permit and inspection requirements for roofing work. We handle the entire permitting process to ensure compliance.

Do I need to remove my solar panels to reroof?

Yes. Solar panels must be carefully detached and reset during a full roof replacement to ensure the new roofing system maintains its integrity and warranties. We coordinate this process seamlessly.
